Delos Descending Read online

The god-of-all-gods patted the proud stallion on the muzzle. “And how can my son be a great breeder of horses without a good stallion? Follow them through, Fleetwind. Be you content in your new world."

With a snort, Fleetwind ran after his master and jumped through the portal.

A moment later, Zeus watched it disappear. He turned to face his wife's approaching, angry presence. “Bring on your wrath, you she-devil. You'll rue the day you decided to confront me and threatened one of my sons!” He loudly affirmed.

And, as the ground shook around him, the approaching storm cloud softened. Zeus sensed her fear and smirked.

  Napa Valley, California

The sun shone down as brightly as it ever had on the mountain of Olympus. Delos gazed out over the crops of luscious grapes and sipped his wine. In a paddock behind his Grecian-style villa, Fleetwind pranced with the new mare who was now in foal. Along a stone pathway where a gazebo had been built, he could see Kato and Hephenon raising their glasses in a toast to each other.

He smilingly watched as Meg strolled toward him, leaving her beloved rose garden behind for the day. He loved the soft dress she wore. The pastel colours suited her, and the fabric flowed around her lovely body like those tattered gauze drapes at the old ruin. He couldn't help the silly grin he knew was pasted on his face. But he was in a grand mood. As she sauntered onto the patio where he now sat, he posed his question. “Happy?” he asked.

She nodded. “More than you'll ever know. And, just to prove it, I'll meet you in the hot tub. I'll light some candles and open another bottle of wine.” She purposely dropped the thin straps of her dress so that Del could see her breasts. She playfully squeezed them and tossed her hair back.

Even now, Delos’ cock wilfully responded. There would be a full night of lovemaking ahead. One he hoped would lead to a baby.

As he downed the last of his wine and followed his wife to the back veranda, Delos thought about his other siblings. He'd never see them again and hadn't even had the chance to say goodbye. Perhaps Zeus, in his infinite wisdom, would offer them his love. He snorted. No, that wasn't likely. His father would have his hands too full dealing with Hera and her outrageous behaviour. He sighed and hoped his siblings’ lives could eventually be as wonderful as his.

His mind drifted off that subject as he began to remove his clothing and ready himself for hot sex with Meg. That was when the breeze blew in his direction, and he curiously thought he heard his name being shouted from a nearby hilltop. He stopped and tilted his head toward the sound. “Did you hear that, Meg?"

  "Hear what?"

"I thought I heard ... never mind.” He laughed, then grabbed her around the waist and danced her to the hot tub.

Much later that night, Fleetwind stood in the paddock and flicked his ears forward. There was someone out there, in the vineyards. The scent in the air was very much like his master's. That being the case, there was no reason to fear. He turned his head back toward the lovely little Morgan mare by his side.

He'll be surprised to see me, but what's an older brother to do?

The lone man silently crept toward the villa. He'd shouted to Delos earlier, but that interlude he'd witnessed around the tub was more worth watching than interrupting.

Lydon couldn't get the picture of his younger brother making love to that beauty out of his head. But even that stimulating scenario couldn't diminish his anticipation at seeing his beloved sibling again. Now that he, too, was liberated from Hera's vengeance, there was a new life to begin. All he had to do was find some clothes first. But that chore was momentarily interrupted when an unopened bottle of wine and a corkscrew caught his attention. They were both serenely sitting on a marble-topped table where one of the residents of the beautiful house had left them. There was a hammock at the other end of the porch. It swayed invitingly in the wind. He picked up the bottle of wine and the corkscrew, sneaked to the hammock and laid down. Why wake the entire household and risk dragging his sibling out of a warm lover's bed tonight?

Lydon smirked while remembering his little brother's antics earlier in that hot tub. He gaily opened the bottle of wine, tossed the cork screw and cork aside, then and lay back in the swinging hammock. He'd be perfectly satisfied to stay right there, drink, and wait until morning. That was when he'd make his presence known, and let the bomb drop that Delos had a brand new mouth to feed.

As the breeze blew over his body and the wine began to take effect, Lydon closed his eyes and began to masturbate. A god of his libido could hardly expect to watch all that lovemaking earlier and not be affected by it. Life here was going to be grand. All he had to do was convince Del to help him. It wouldn't be easy to find a woman in this reality that was fit for a former Grecian god, but he'd had many harder tasks in his life. And little brother, Del, didn't know it yet ... but he was going to help.
